Marquez Wins Australian MotoGP Thanks to Intelligent Strategy
Melbourne - Repsol Honda rider, Marc Marquez, is applying the right strategy so as to win the Australian MotoGP race that took place at Phillip Island Circuit on Sunday (22/10/2017).

Despite starting the race from pole position, Marquez got stiff resistance from four riders behind him namely Johann Zarco, Valentino Rossi, Maverick Vinales, and Jack Miller. Even Marquez was thrown into fifth on the fourth lap.

However, thanks to the right strategy, Marquez managed to poke back into the front position. The Baby Alien claimed to have held back for the last seven laps.

Marquez started leading the race on lap 21. He overtook Vinales and took the distance with three riders behind him. The Baby Alien also benefited from the conditions of some riders like Vinales, Rossi, Zarco and Andrea Iannone who brushed against each other

"I'm just waiting," said Marquez. "When I've entered the last seven laps, I just look all out," said Marquez quoted from Crash on Sunday (22/10/2017).

"This race is going great, We enjoy the fierce competition and give a fun show to the fans," he continued.

The victory at Phillip Island also further reinforces the position of Marc Marquez as pemuncak standings MotoGP 2017 with Raihan 269 points. The five-time world champion is now 33 points ahead of Andrea Dovizioso.
