Neymar joined PSG at the start of the 2017/18 season by breaking the most expensive transfer record in the world. PSG bought the 25-year-old from Barcelona for 200 million euros.
So far, Neymar has performed pretty well. He scored six goals from seven games in Ligue 1. But, with the expensive purchase price, Neymar is expected to contribute more. As did Messi in Barca.
"Neymar needs time to adapt to his team-mates and our playing style and he has to get used to the opponent's attack, but he has individual qualities and talents," Emery said.
As coach, Emery promised to help Neymar achieve peak career along with PSG. The Spaniard admits that he has been working with Neymar for a while to improve his playing style.
One method Emery uses is to evaluate with colleagues.
"We've worked with him from the video to see what he can fix, how he can be in a better position, make the transition to play well, he also fixes his gocekan," Emery said.
